Back on the farm...

So, I made it back to SLC alst night. It wasn't the most exhilarating drive of my life, but then again I suppose that it wasn't the worst either. Today I went and scoped some pretty sweet zones near Brighton, and we got to ski some snow that remind me of the potatoes my mom makes at Thanksgiving, creamy and delicious. It was fun to finally get out of bounds and lay some fresh tracks.

I spent about four days in Summit County on my hiatus shooting with Freeheellife.com Monster Squad Members Jeff Rutkowski, Kjell Ellefson and Lipstick Athletes Austin Corry and Erin Young. The first couple of days the weather was excellent, and we got some cool stuff done on area. The second wasn't quite so cooperative though. We ended up down in Denver to attempt some urban stuff. All in all, a good time with some skiing involved. Oh, and we went and saw Apocalypto...GOOD GOD! I was half expecting a historical commentary from which I might gain some insight into the conquest of some ancient civilizations, but NO...have you ever seen anyone get their face gnawed off by a black jaguar? I can claim this right, even if the kitty was a little puppet like.

Anyways, we're gonna get real busy here for the next few weeks. It's going to be a wild month, but I can't wait.
